Terms of Service

By accessing or using Bunshin ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including business owners, team members, and any other persons who access the Service.

Bunshin is a software-as-a-service platform that allows businesses to deploy, configure, and manage AI-powered agents for customer communication, lead qualification, and business process automation. The Service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time.

You must create an account to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at security@bunshin.app if you believe your account has been compromised.

You agree not to use the Service to: (a) violate any applicable law or regulation; (b) transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent; (c) impersonate any person or entity; (d) interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service; (e) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems. Violation of this policy may result in immediate termination of your account.

The Service operates on a credit-based model. Credits are consumed when your agents process messages. Credits are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Subscription fees are billed in advance. If payment fails, we will attempt to retry and notify you. Accounts with overdue balances may be suspended until payment is resolved.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of all data you upload or generate through the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process your data for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. We do not sell your data to third parties.

The Service uses large language models to generate responses. AI outputs are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific use case. You are solely responsible for reviewing agent configurations, monitoring outputs, and ensuring that AI-generated content meets your business requirements and complies with applicable regulations.

The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by Bunshin Technologies and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your internal business purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bunshin Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases and we may delete your data after a 30-day retention period, except where we are required to retain it by law.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via an in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, except where prohibited by applicable law.
